It was a bright, sunny Sunday morning. Crisp and clear. My daughter phoned to invite us for lunch and an afternoon of ice fishing. "There’s a few of us going.” she said. "Some are coming by snow machine. Others are driving there and hiking onto the ice. It’s not far. We’ll be just in front of the cabin.”
